Privacy Policy

This policy describes how VanteraGroupCO ("we", "us"), the seller and data controller for PennyPath, handles your information. If you have questions, contact us at support@vanteragroupco.com.

What we collect

We collect your name and email address (account creation and waitlist), login credentials, the budget, transaction, and account preference data you enter, support messages you send us, and basic technical data such as device type and IP address used to keep the service secure.

How we use your data and our legal basis

We use your data to provide the budgeting features you see in the app and to keep your data synced across devices (performance of our contract with you), to keep the service secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interests), to respond to support requests (legitimate interests), and — only where you have opted in — to send you launch and product updates (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Who we share it with

We share data with the service providers that run PennyPath: our cloud hosting and database provider, and our email delivery provider. When you buy PennyPath Pro on the web, our online reseller Paddle.com acts as Merchant of Record and receives the data needed to process your payment, manage your subscription, handle tax compliance, and issue invoices. Purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple, with RevenueCat managing subscription status. We may also share data with professional advisers or authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and synced data for as long as your account is active. Waitlist emails are kept until launch communications are complete or you ask us to remove you. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. You can delete your account and all synced data at any time from Settings in the app.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data from the app settings at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. We respond to requests within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information.

Cookies

PennyPath uses only essential storage (such as keeping you signed in and remembering your theme). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
